DMX Transferred From Florida Jail To Arizona Jail

DMX has been extradited from Florida to an Arizona jail to face numerous charges he accumulated in the state.

According to the Arizona Republic, the former Def Jam artist was moved from a Miami Dade County institution Wednesday evening (September 10) and taken to Phoenix, Arizona’s Maricopa County Jail. In addition to facing felony drug possession charges, X is also expected to defend his numerous traffic violations, animal cruelty accusations, plus defrauding a hospital with an invalid Social Security number and name.

Prior to this week, the controversial rapper made headlines after verbally showing his distain towards a Florida courtroom judge last month when he was denied bail for a trip to Arizona.

He had previously been jailed in Miami Dade County after being issued a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear in court stemming from drug possession charges.

X is currently being held on a strict $25,000 cash-only bond.
