Young Jeezy Makes Us Embrace The

In a time when nobody, with the exception of Lil' Wayne, is selling records, Atanta’s own, Young Jeezy killed it on Billboard this week. And even though I’m still bitter [I’m sure everybody knows why], I got to give the homie his props. Check below for all the details.

Hitsdailydouble.com is reporting the following:

Recession, what recession? As far as Young Jeezy’s concerned, The Recession is the name of his chart-topping Def Jam/IDJ album.

The Atlanta-based rapper’s third album, and first since 2006’s The Inspiration, debuts at #1 on the HITS sales rundown this week, with a total of 253k. [Source]

While 253k is nothing to scoff at, I don’t know why I thought it would be higher. There were reports going around that he did that in just one day. But you know how people like to inflate sh*t.

But anyway, it’s a really good look for Jeezy’s third solo CD. I haven’t purchased the project, nor did I ever get that listening session I was promised, but what did you think?

Is the album worth it? Keep it real!
