Amy Winehouse Remains Hospitalized, Doc Warns Her To Quit Drugs

After being rushed to the hospital earlier this week following a blackout, Amy Winehouse remains hospitalized and has received a dire warning from her doctor: stop doing drugs or die.

A source told London's The Sun newspaper, "She might have escaped this time, but eventually she won't get up again. The only thing to stop that happening is if she quits drugs."

As previously reported, Winehouse's father rushed her to a London hospital Monday when the British soul singer fainted.

According to doctors, the fainting spell could be caused by a massive overdose she suffered last year. Tests show she developed brain problems after the OD.

Winehouse is still scheduled to perform at Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday later this month.
