The key witness in the R. Kelly trial took the stand today and admitted to having a threesome with the singer and the teenage girl at the center of the trial.

According to reports from the New York Post and the Chicago Tribune, Lisa Van Allen testified this morning that she and the alleged 13 year-old girl on the tape engaged in a three-way sex act with Kelly on at least three occasions-one being on Kelly's basketball court.

Van Allen told the jury she met Kelly in 1997 at the age of 17 and had sex with him on this first encounter. After the pair exchanged numbers, she eventually moved to Chicago from Georgia to be closer to Kelly. Van Allen said she would spend most of her time with the singer and he would foot her hotel bills.

It was in 1998 that Van Allen said she first met the alleged victim on the tape and Kelly told her the girl was 16. The three engaged in a sex act in the same room where the alleged tape was recorded; in Kelly's former home on the North Side of Chicago. She said Kelly videotaped this experience as well.

"He had a stand, and he set it up ... and directed it toward where we were," she said . "[He] told us where to sit and basically what to do."

Van Allen claims the trio had another threesome on Kelly's basketball court, following an awards ceremony in Chicago where Kelly had been honored.

"He took up his camera and we took off our clothes and we all had sex again," Van Allen told the jury. She said she broke down in tears during this particular encounter and Kelly stopped. "I didn't want to do it," she testified in court.

The third occasion Van Allen said was in 2000, in Kelly's trailer at the video shoot for "Woman's Threat."

While Van Allen told jurors she had never seen the tape in question since the State's attorneys showed her last week, she said that the tape was probably made in '98, the same year that Kelly filmed his encounters with her and the alleged victim because "they both looked exactly the same way." She also identified the room in the tape as Kelly's log cabin-themed room.

In addition Van Allen admitted today that she had stolen a Rolex watch from Kelly in 2001.

In return for her testimony, Van Allen is immune from state and federal charges for child porn. As to why she was willing to testify, Van Allen said "It's the right thing to do."

As previously reported, last week a mystery witness surfaced for Kelly's defense team. According to the Chicago Tribune, the man's name is Damon Pryor and he is an ex-boyfriend of Van Allen as well as the father of her 5-year old child. His testimony is expected to contradict hers.

Kelly faces 14 counts of videotaping, producing or soliciting child pornography. He pled innocent to all charges and if convicted could face up to 15 years in prison.

The trial will continue tomorrow. Stay tuned To as the story develops.
