Already tapped to play music legend Etta James in an upcoming movie about blues label Chess Records, Beyonce will also play pivotal roles in the production of the project and its soundtrack.According to Billboard, Beyonce will executive produce Darnell Martin's "Cadillac Records" for Sony BMG Films - a film set in 1950's Chicago exploring the rise and fall of Chess Records - the label responsible for kicking off the careers of Chuck Berry, Etta James and Muddy Waters. . As previously reported, Bey will join a stellar cast including Cedric the Entertainer, Jeffrey Wright, Columbus Short, Tammy Blanchard, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Oscar winner Adrien Brody in the period piece. Beyonce will also record four songs for the soundtrack, released through Music World Entertainment and Columbia Records.
