R. Kelly just can't seem to stay out of trouble. His latest drama involves a Nevada-based promoter who is suing him for failing to appear at a scheduled performance.

This is all going on while the R&B crooner is still facing charges of child pornography.

According to TMZ, Royalty Records filed a suit against Kelly in an Atlanta District Court. Royalty claims that Kelly agreed to hit the stage on December 6, 2007 at the Target Center alongside Keyshia Cole and Ne-Yo. Allegedly, Kelly failed to show but still took a $120,000 fee for it. In the suit, Royalty also alleges that Kelly moved the show from its original date to the 20th--the same day that he was demanded to appear at a Chicago court or face arrest

Now the promoter is asking Kelly to show up to court in Atlanta and not only does he want his money back but cash for unspecified damages, as well.

In his complaint, Royalty says that Kelly "never intended" to do the show.

As of press time R. Kelly's lawyer has made no comment on the suit.
