Rihanna and Mary J. Blige have joined the list of performers who will hit the Grammy stage at next month's ceremony.

As previously reported, Beyoncé and the Foo Fighters were already confirmed to perform at the show. Country singer Carrie Underwood is also among the list of new stars to join the evening's lineup.

According to Billboard, the night will include several collaborations, including a Grammy's 50th anniversary performance by 80's R&B/funk group The Time, who will be reuniting in celebration of the event and joined by Rihanna.

The Grammy's will also unite Aretha Franklin, the 2008 Music Cares Person of the Year, with Mary J. Blige, the Clark Sisters, Israel And New Breed, the Madison Bumblebees and Trin-I-Tee 5:7 for a special gospel act.

The show has also been given the go ahead by the striking Writers Guild. The WGA announced on Tuesday (1/22) that they will not picket the show.

"We are pleased with the decision," Recording Academy President Neil Portnow said via statement. "In light of this, we are gratified that the 50th Annual Grammy Awards will focus solely on the great music, artists and charitable work resulting from our show."

While the WGA will not strike, the union decided not to grant the Grammy's a waiver that would have allowed the use of their members to write for the show.

In related news, has learned that Janet Jackson will not be performing at the Grammys

"As of this time there are no plans for Janet to perform at the Grammys," her reps confirmed with.

Janet has won several Grammys in the past including Best R&B Song in 1993 for "That's the Way Love Goes" along with three awards for best music video including "Rhythm Nation," "Scream" and "Got Til' It's Gone."

The Grammy's will be held Feb.10 at Los Angeles' Staples Center. The show will be broadcast by CBS in HDTV, on XM Satellite Radio via Westwood One Worldwide and online on Grammy.com.
