Ay yo Pap! I remember four years ago when you used to be one of my faves in the mixtape game. Time passed, and like many, I eventually lost interest.  Must've been that $1 million dollar deal with Jive. Now, post-Jive, the grind and the motivation just doesn't seem to be there anymore. So what do you do? You go into the booth and make songs like these.

I believe Fat Joanna is full of sh*t when he says he gave Pap the business. But at the same time, when I listen to this song I can't take it seriously, because I think about when some dude sucker punched Papoose in the back of his head and ran away as Pap swung around the parking sign pole like he was dancing to "Tip Drill" -- and then took off and ran faster than Cam'run... except he actually CHASED the punk. However, while attempting to nab his violator, Pap didn't pull any of those "guns" he claims he owns, he didn't "annihilate," didn't leave homie flat faced in chalk, didnt "shoot you up," or any of that hard core sh*t he talks about in his songs.

How ironic is that? Ha. Maybe that's why I'm suddenly starting to like this song. Not only is it about these "rappers" and "thugs" on the net, but it's also about... himself.

Side note: Being that Pap's a resident of NYC, he probably doesn't even OWN a gun. Unless he wants to become the next Prodigy. So really duke. Stop with the calling-wanksters-out business. I mean, it's great. We need that. But son... don't make a song unless you're absolutely NOT an example of the subject matter you chose to rap about.
