has learned that release date for the highly anticipated upcoming album LAX from Compton, California rapper The Game has been delayed yet again.
Black Wall Street New Media and Digital Marketing Director Grego confirmed to SOHH that the album release has been rescheduled to July 22nd. No explanation for the new date was given.
As previously reported, Game was originally scheduled for a June 24th release date along with G-Unit's Terminate On Site before being pushed back twice to July 8th.
"I will drop my album on July 8 in order to clean up the mess 50 made with his new release on July 1st," Game recently told SOHH.
LAX will follow-up the Compton rapper's '06 release, The Doctor's Advocate, and will supposedly be his final album before retiring from music. In addition to preparing his final album, Game has expanded by appearing alongside Forest Whitaker and Keanu Reeves in Street Kings and popularizing his own website, ThisIzGame.com.
Game's L.A.X. is set to release July 22nd and will feature artists including Lil' Wayne, Busta Rhymes and Common.
