Update: Foxy Brown Warrant Recalled

Though Foxy Brown has continued to see her share of legal troubles after completing her bid, she'a apparently dodged one bullet.

According to TMZ, the bench warrant that was issued for the rapper's arrest yesterday (May 5) was a misunderstanding and has since been recalled.

As previously reported by, following standard procedure, when Foxy missed a scheduled court hearing yesterday morning in her BlackBerry assault case, the court issued a bench warrant for her arrest.

Laura Dilimetin, Brown's lawyer, says that she had gotten the rapper's case delayed to May 8, but that court officials mistakenly kept May 5 on their calendar. When they realized the error, they recalled the warrant.

The rapper is still scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on the same charge, as scheduled, on May 8
