A Canadian teen was recently fined and placed on probation for stealing Eminem's ex-wife's cell phone and using it to harass the hip-hop star.

Kyle Spratt got his hands on the phone last spring when Kim Mathers, Em's ex-wife, stepped out of Windsor's Paradise Bingo for a smoke. She returned to find her phone gone, according to the Canadian paper, the Windsor Star.

"He starts making calls to Eminem ... he says he's this and he's that," Spratt's lawyer Robert DiPietro said.

When the 19 year-old did return the phone, it was missing the SIM card that held all Kim's stored phone numbers.

Meanwhile, he continued to call Em (born Marshall Mathers), harassing the rapper and forcing him and his family to change their phone numbers and get the police involved.

Spratt, who is a big fan of Em, even turned nasty on the phone with his idol, bragging on his MySpace page of his theft and posting the recorded conversations on the site. In one expletive riddled call, Spratt berates Em, then says he just wanted the rapper to listen to his music.

"He apologized to the court," DiPietro said of his teen client. "He's hoping to move on with his life."

The kid pleaded guilty to the theft and was placed on a year's probation and fined $230. He was ordered to stay away from Eminem and is also not allowed to make contact with Kim.

In related news, Em's mom Debbie Nelson is being sued over a biography about her infamous son. As previously reported, she outs Em for suffereing from deep depression in the tell-all.

Nelson's agent Neal Alpert claims that in 2005, he inked a contract with Mathers' mom, acting as her agent and reaping 25% of gross profits.

He alleges that Nelson, unbeknownst to him, penned the book My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem: Setting The Record Straight On My Life As Eminem's Mother, with co-author Annette Witheridge and publisher Watson, Little, Ltd. Nelson subsequently cut him out of receiving any profits from sales.

The book has moved 100,000 copies in the UK since it's shelf date last year and is due to hit stores state side next week.
