After announcing an April 8th release date for their sophomore album, The Odd Couple, Gnarls Barkley's disc available now on iTunes.

As previously reported, Gnarls Barkley's new album The Odd Couple leaked online two weeks ago, although, according to Billboard reports, the leak has not been blamed for the change in release dates.

"They felt the timing was right to just go for it," a post on the duo's website reads. "With the shifting seasons, furtive romantic entanglements and fierce college basketball rivalries, the latter half can be confusing. People need to be soothed and inspired now."

The duo recently released a video for their lead single "Run," which is currently #36 on Billboard's Modern Rock chart.

Thus far Gnarls hasn't committed to a full tour to promote The Odd Couple, however the group have already scheduled a number of performances, including an April 12th visit to "Saturday Night Live."

"Believe it or not, I still can't afford to take my entire family on the road with me," Cee-Lo Green explained to Billboard . "[But] it's an entirely different thing to walk out onstage to the love and embrace of a crowd that's singing along with something you could have very possibly been alone in. And it's about that too. It makes me able to complain a whole lot less."

The Odd Couple is available at the iTunes Music Store today while the physical CD is set to hit stores this week via Downtown/Atlantic Records.
