Turmoil erupted last night after a Spring Break rap concert, in Galveston, Texas as multiple fights broke out leading to 12 arrests.

According to the Associated Press, Houston's Party 99.3 KPTY's "Spring Break Party Beach Bash," turned chaotic yesterday (Mar. 16). The Galveston police department tried to restore order after performances from Webbie, Universal Republic recording artist 2 Pistols, Konvict Muzik's Colby O'Donnis and Lil' Wil & Lil' Keke.

Galveston police Lt. Jorge Trevino stated that it took officers almost four hours to clear the streets after multiple fights took place on the beach at Galveston.

Apparently, four officers were initially assigned to patrol the concert but due to the crowd's disorderly conduct, all of Galveston's on-duty officers were sent to the scene.

No one was reported injured or hurt at press time.

This comes on the heels of Webbie's Savage Life 2 climbing to No. 1 on the Top Rap albums charts this week, backed by the infectious single "INDEPENDENT."

2 Pistols is also experiencing some success, as the Florida rapper's lead single "She Got It" featuring T-Pain off his debut Death Before Dishonor, has garnered heavy rotation at radio and on BET and MTV.
