DJ Khaled Preps New Disc For Summer '08

Miami radio personality and collabo king DJ Khaled is set to drop his next album this summer on Terror Squad/Koch Records.

Khaled's last album, We The Best debuted at No. 8 off the strength off the mega-hit collabos "We Takin' Over," featuring T.I., Akon, Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Lil' Wayne, and Birdman, and "I'm So Hood," featuring T-Pain, Trick Daddy, Ross and Plies. To date, the album, which came out in June of 2007, has sold over 350,000 copies.

Khaled's debut disc, 2006's Listennn...The Album sold over 200,000 and featured the hit "Holla At Me" with Paul Wall.

In related news, Khaled recently struck a deal with Def Jam to release his We The Best imprint, which includes rapper Ace.

"I'm proud to be a member of the Def Jam family," Khaled said via statement. "Def Jam has been and still is one of the most important institutions in hip-hop and music as a whole."

No word yet on the title of Khaled's forthcoming release.
