Webbie Links W/ Bun B And Mannie Fresh For Sophomore Set

Three years after Baton Rouge rapper Webbie broke out with his first solo project, Savage Life, he's back to finish the story with Savage Life 2.

The album features appearances from Bun B, Young Dro, and Birdman, as well as Webbie's Trill Entertainment/Asylum/Atlantic labelmates Lil' Boosie, Foxx, Big Head, and 3 Deep's Mouse, Shell, and Lil' Phat. On the production side of things Mannie Fresh, B-Real, BJ and Mouse all came through to lend their support.

The video for the first single off the project, "Independent," is currently in heavy rotation and has made the Top 5 Urban hit list. [Watch video here.]

The Baton Rouge resident recently finished a national tour with Boosie and Foxx and is set to take off on his own national tour in late January, early February.

Savage Life 2 hits stores Feb. 26.
