Amy Winehouse Arrested Again

Police arrested Grammy award winner Amy Winehouse today (May 7) on suspicion of drugs possession.

As previously reported, a video clip surfaced in January of Winehouse allegedly taking drugs at a party in her home in north London. At the time, still images from the video were published by Britain's The Sun tabloid. According to the Associated Press, Winehouse's spokesman, Chris Goodman, said the arrest is connected to this same video and confirmed that the 24-year old woman in police custody was the soul songstress.

Goodman issued a statement saying, "Amy Winehouse voluntarily attended a London police station today by appointment. She was arrested in order to be interviewed and is cooperating fully with inquiries."

"The interview relates to a video handed to police earlier this year," he said.

Best known for her hit "Rehab" Winehouse entered one shortly after The Sun published images claiming to be of her.

This is not Amy's first run-in with the law as just last month she was arrested on suspicion of assault for allegedly headbutting a man in London. Though no charges were filed the incident is on Amy's record.
